Position Description
An experienced Cleaner is wanted for Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ Sunvalley location. You will be in charge of keeping the store tidy and clean in accordance with Dis-Chem’s hygiene requirements. Included are the shop floor, stock room, dispensary, administrative office, and canteen.
Minimum Conditions
12th grade
six months or more of cleaning experience
English language proficiency
standard clientele
Additional regionally specific language
able and willing to work retail hours
Experience cleaning retail stores before in both languages
Job Requirements
Before the business opens, maintain a daily high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store, including the shop floor and common spaces.
Create procedures to guarantee that the cleanliness of every section of the business is kept to a high degree.
Ensure that the canteen and toilets are always stocked with the required supplies and clean.
Be accessible during operating hours to assist with cleanup as needed.
Make that the proper cleaning supplies and tools are utilized for each job.
When washing the floor, make sure the wet floor sign is up and clearly visible from both ends.
Be approachable, competent, and able to help consumers.
Follow the rules for health and safety when doing your job.
