Position Title: Manager, Repair, Maintenance, and Assessment Department
Location: Fidelity Cash Solutions – CashMaster, Waltloo Pretoria
Reporting to: Production Manager
Overview: The Repair, Maintenance, and Assessment (RMA) Department plays a crucial role in providing operations, production, and dispatch with repaired and/or refurbished spares, devices, and boot stock for technicians. The primary focus is on cost-saving and reliable service to ensure stock availability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations within the RMA department.
- Supervise and support the returns and RMA team.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure effective support.
- Provide regular reporting on departmental activities.
- Train, mentor, and review the performance of staff.
- Oversee the supply of refurbished spares to the Boot Stock department.
- Monitor and improve work quality to reduce repeat calls.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, including a 72-hour turnaround time.
- Manage relationships with external repair suppliers.
- Control RMA stock levels and oversee reordering.
- Plan and manage staff leave.
- Investigate and report on field problems.
- Ensure timely transfers.
- Monitor individual key performance indicators.
- Conduct monthly evaluations on stock consumption.
- Ensure compliance with group policies and standards.
- Perform and oversee preventative maintenance.
- Conduct quality control, reporting, and analysis.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric qualification with relevant post-matric qualifications.
- Extensive technical product knowledge.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Effective team leadership and management skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
