Prerequisite

an advanced degree in the fields of business, commerce, management studies, and management accounting with a financial management concentration at NQF level 7.
completion of the Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme successfully

(Nyukela). Experience: Middle/senior managerial level experience in management accounting for 5 years. Experience with and in-depth knowledge of management accounting, forecasting, statistical analysis, and modeling. understanding of the PERSAL, PASTEL, and BAS systems. knowledge and comprehension of the Republic of South Africa’s Constitution and the laws governing the public sector, such as the Public Service Act, Public Administration Management Act, and Public Finance Management Act,

Municipal Finance 141 Management Act). Theoretical and practical knowledge of best practice and

cutting-edge management accounting. Sound knowledge of GRAP (Generally \Recognized Accounting Practices), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting \Practices) and zero-based basis of accounting, performance budgeting.
Competencies/Skills: Experience in financial management along with strong analytical and planning abilities. analysis, forecasting, and reporting of statistics.

The incumbent will be in charge of providing the Directorate with strategic leadership. Critical Results Areas Utilizing a variety of tools, forecasting models, and cost estimates databases, analyze and quantify financial data to offer

planning and decision-making in financial matters. ETD offerings, operational costs, clientele, and geography are taken into account when predicting revenue generation and cash flow. Utilizing analysis tools, manage NSG profitability and establish break-even points. Utilizing constraint analysis tools, locate bottlenecks and assess their effects on cash flow and revenue generation. Giving advice on the expenses of new designs, comparing the cost to the target, and examining variance can help with product design.

Utilize standard costing, budgetary control, accounting ratios, cash and funds flow statements, and cost-cutting initiatives to manage the organization’s financial performance.

Organize the MTEF, ENE, and AENE budget planning, development, allocation, and control in compliance with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
